Ingredient Disclosure Statement Information
On October 15, 2017, Governor Brown signed into law the California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2017 (“Act”). This law requires manufacturers of cleaning products to disclose ingredient information on both the product’s label and on the company’s Web site.
Under the Program, the manufacturer has primary responsibility for disclosing ingredients in covered products. This requirement currently applies to products sold only in California.
EPA registered products are exempt from the disclosure requirements
